  • Kiss Me I'm Irish Columbia Legacy CD CK-53631

Good dubs of older recordings by Columbia artists inc Arthur Godfrey, Carmel Quinn, Frank Parker, Maureen O'Hara, Kate Smith, and Pat Harrington. Unfortunately the person who wrote the notes completely messed up the part on Frank Parker. He was never on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts, although he was on the other Godfrey programs. The biographical material is not about the singer Frank Parker (the boy singer with Jack Benny before Dennis Day) but confuses him with the actor Frank (aka Franklin) Parker and another, later actor of the same name. Bad research! And this is for a record from Columbia formerly tied to CBS where Godfrey, Parker and Quinn were starred for years!
