The ribbon fit the rail although I had to remove some excess and cut it to the proper length. My window is working perfectly now. However I have a few suggestions. First off, you should caution the buyer to keep their hand tightly on the coiled ribbon this is the third ribbon I purchased and the first time that when i untied the twist the ribbon recoiled and broke. Secondly I used a bolt and flathead screw through the grommet you provide to stop the ribbon from coming loose over time,
