Great quality, easy fix.
If you are a cheap b*****d like me, you want to get as much use as possible out of something for which you spent a considerable amount of money. My camera protective lens broke, and scratched the camera lens below. I was able to easily replace the camera with this part and instructions on ifixit. It is OEM, and the quality is identical to the original camera. I am handy, but would not consider myself especially technical. If you can program a VCR (or whatever the current similarly technical criteria would be,) you can fix this.If you are a cheap b*****d like me, you want to get as much use as possible out of something for which you spent a considerable amount of money. Packaging Snaful?
The product was fine I suppose until it was packaged in an envelope with not padding or bubble rap. By the time it reached me the delicate connectors had been smashed/bent. When I opened the sealed package and I went to install it several of the connectors simply fell off.

To the no focus problem..
The LG 5X guys was the Nexus budget line, so the no focus or off focus, as the camera app it's self with Penny pinch hardware has to do with it not the camera replacement. I know this as I was a Nexus 5x, and all others, user. Had to do with distance from the object..back it off a little at a time till you catch it. If it's like 6inches you had to adjust, not a part it's the way of the deal with that phone.. trust me, many hours, many parts, and three 5x's donating to eachother.. but DOA parts do exist and can still out of all that I said be true, albeit those odds are phenomenally low and when does happen poor shipping played more into the death than of factory line.
