    Strike Alert

    Hadn't had a chance to test this until today (12/23/15) when we are experiencing thunderstorms in the area (you gotta love that holiday season thunderstorm!). This unit does work well and can determine the range / distance of the strike. This is a nice device to have for any outdoor activity. When using it indoors, it can be triggered by several things such as a fluorescent light being turned on or laying next to a wireless mouse. I'm sure there are other electrical devices that will trigger it when turned, but the purpose of this device is for use "out in the field" where I'm not hauling around a fluorescent, and from that stand point it is an excellent device and well worth having.
