These Panasonic units went out of production quite a number of years ago so it is rare to come across a source whose stock is not just described as 'new' but genuinely is as near to coming fresh from the factory as you could possibly expect. They are far from cheap however and you need to weigh up the merits. The old adage 'You get what you pay for' definitely applies! Excellent communication and quick dispatch, with over-wrapping to protect the box. All in all, a pleasure to buy, thank you.

    Great replacement drive for recorder.

    Bought this drive to replace the one in my Humax box which had failed after 6 years of use. It was easy to fit and now works perfectly. At a cost of £23 saved buying a new machine at ten times the price! Storage capacity also doubled from the original 500gb disk.

    Great 1TB cctv DVD hard drive

    My dvr hard drive fried so instead of buying a whole new system I chose to repair it. The drive arrived in a letterbox friendly package but it needed signing for. Packaging was ample. Installed in DVD without problem, formatted ok and is now running. Ordered another as my daughters cctv dvr hard drive has fried too!!

    Failed within days

    Purchased as a replacement hard drive for Humax box. Installed, worked ok for just a few hours - this hard drive failed within a couple of days of usage. This Seagate hard drive now does not start up, Humax cannot read drive.
