Excellent ESC for bashers
In typical Hobbywing fashion, this ESC is well packaged and full of details. Includes pre-cut double-sided, foam-backed tape for the ESC and the switch. Plenty long, 12-gage wires are wicked rugged and maybe a bit over-engineered for 1/10th scale but that's erring on the side of caution. Also, the fan likely isn't needed even down to a 13.5T motor. Calibrating the ESC is very simple. Simplier than most but not automatic. Default settings are quite decent but there are a ton of options that can be set. Just follow the configuration table. WOWSERS, nothing budget about the performance!
I put this into a Hbracing D413 buggy with a 5.5t Orion motor and it HAULS! good size, conveniently the wires are all attached just cut to length and solder! I bought the extra digital tuning device as well, easy to use and super handy for getting it right. Not a ton of adjustment but everything g you need. Just plug the receiver wire direct into the tuner. I have the hobbywing xerun 120a and this hobbywing QuickRun 120a esc’s. Among many other hw’s as well. This is my second quicrun. Have no problems with them.. make your life easier and get the HobbyWing 3in1 Professional Multifunction LCD Program Box .it works with all my hw’s. The Hobbywing LED Program Card for me does not work on the esc’s above this level. This esc is my new go to esc. I am very satisfied with the durability , performance and price. I have tried many clone esc’s with bad success. I would have spent the same amount of money in the long run and saved myself the headache of time and money wasted..I have the hobbywing xerun 120a and this hobbywing QuickRun 120a esc’s.
