      Absolute life saver.

      Living in the Western highlands of Panamá this kit is absolutely indispensable. Gearwrench brand tools have outlasted any other brand I’ve had in my collection of tools since my first set in 2003. I trusted them to provide the same quality with this kit and they exceeded all of my expectations.

      Missing two very important pieces

      This is a pretty good tap and die set but I have to say I would like to meet the idiot that put together the numbers on this set. I'm a full-time auto mechanic for 33 years and if I was to pick the top 5 tap and die numbers that would be used on every normal car and truck in the world this set is missing two of them. This set is missing the die 14mm X 1.50. And the die 12mm X 1.25 wtf. And the long Bar number 82800 fell apart the first time I went to use it and I had to buy a new one at an extra $35.

      This is an excellent Tap and Die Set!

      Buying a tap and die set can be a crap shoot, you never know what kind of quality you're going to get. Even high priced sets can be poor quality. This set is excellent and worth every penny. The taps and dies are of excellent quality and cut very very good. The tap and die holders are the best that I've ever used and the ratcheting handles make any thread cutting task a breeze. I am super satisfied with this set and highly recommend it!
