    Great products that did not disappoint. Does everything at claims to. This item does not come with a cord it is wireless and takes AA batteries. Overall makes for a great piano for my daughter to practice on for her lessons.

    As a teaching tool, this Yamaha is ok but it's competition (Casio) really shines.

    Yamaha presents numerous fine sounds from this inexpensive unit. The arranging/recording, rhythm, percussion, sound effects and special synthesized pads are impressive as well...where it falls short is not having touch sensitive keys and in it's learning mode. I found that Casio presents a much better learning environment with it's Chordanna app and their models with lighted keys and touch sensitivity are a far better choice for youngsters wanting to learn to play piano or other keyboards even though many of Yamaha's sounds are quite superior. After having this this PSR-E263 for a few days and realizing this was better suited to someone who has at least some knowledge of how to play and utilize it's features, I purchased a Casio LK-S250 for my daughter (9 years old) because for a true ...

    It works fine. However, the sound is a little bit what you might expect. Yamaha is a very dependable brand. It is for beginners and that it has the notes printed on the keys which is very convenient

    It’s great for beginners

    I got this keyboard so I could play music for my son. I’m a beginner but from my point of view it sounds great. It’s not heavy but it feels sturdy. The only downside is that it doesn’t come with an adapter for power. Luckily I had one laying around.

    Good for a beginner

    Sounds good so far. I'm a real beginner and find it easy enough to use since I only use piano mode. It doesn't have the full complement of keys that a regular piano has. But that's okay because beginners mostly hang around middle C, anyway.
