These are simply hollow metal beads, with the holes drilled in a "y" formation and absolutely no inner guide for stringing as a guru bead. It is virtually impossible to thread them, as a result. They are extremely lightweight base metal, which isn't a deal breaker but still, they are cheaply made. Not worth trying to return, but disappointed to be sure.
