The description of the replacement control was spot on. Seller claims this unit works. It does work. My refrigerator was not maintaining temperature and Sears service said it needed a new compressor, control board, and evaporator - cost: $1400. I said OK. The technician who arrived to install the parts said the refrigerator was working and the problem was misdiagnosed, and took the parts back. So, I ordered the new temp control unit, installed it myself and, guess what, problem solved.
