Did look like it is brand new and the item is as described in the listing. Loaded it up and it formatted and partitioned without issue. I scanned the 6TB MDD (white label) HDD using an application called GSmartControl and it passed the short version of the read, write, and bad sector tests without any problems. I'm satisfied with this HDD and I'm more than satisfied with this seller. 5-stars all around.
