    New Google Nest speaker gets a sonic upgrade

    The new Google Nest Audio is a big improvement in sound quality over the previous Google Home speaker. It has much better bass response as well as more defined treble. The full fabric cover makes it look more like a speaker. And, as a stereo pair, the sound is remarkably open and full.

    Great speakers with one important flaw

    Excellent stereo sound when paired. These speakers have one important shortcoming: you cannot, for example, connect them with Bluetooth on your computer to listen to Netflix or any other streaming video--the audio has a latency lag that makes the movie unwatchable.

    Way better than the original Google home speaker

    Great sounding speakers with good, rich bass. I'm playing them as a stereo pair under the TV and they are loud enough to fill the living room. I only wish Google would hurry up and make them able to synchronize with the TV so they could be used as home theater speakers.
