    Photoshop Classroom in a book

    I have been using the Classroom in a book series for about 12 years now for all my Adobe programs. They are the best of any tutorial I have tried. Basically for $50.00 you get as much if not more training then if you where to take a full semester class at a J.C. I have done that and I must say the the CiB series offers more info, you can do it at home on your own time and you don't have to compete with others to get help from a teacher who doesn't really know what they are doing anyway.

    Text book in distance learning class

    I am studying Photoshop in a distance learning class. The book is good in that it gives you click-by-click instructions. The graphics that you create by going through the book are great examples of what you can do with Photoshop. It also covers the theory behind the technology. What I'm missing, however, is the artistic side. How do you put various elements together? Why should I select select a particular setting?

They are solid books with which to learn the basics. This vendor supplied me with my latest purchase in a timely manner and the book arrived in mint condition.

    I will review this product thuroughly as soon as I finish reading it.

    I will be writing a review about this book as soon as I finish reading it. I have been using Adobe Photoshop CS4 since 2010. I have watched several Lynda.com tutorial videos. I am use to working through lab manuals and though that this purchase would help me master the Photoshop program. There is a lot to know about Photoshop CS4. At this time Adobe has released Creative Suite 6. That does not mean that Photoshop CS4 is obsolete.
