Compared to Nascar 2006, there are some distinct differences. I like that most tracks are represented in the different classes. I also like that the "My Nascar" feature is still available. I am not fond of the fact that there is no auto brand representation in the cars, ie: Ford, Dodge,Toyota, etc. I liked that feature in Nascar 2006. I also liked that in the "race now" mode, you can practice, qualify, and race in the same mode compared to having 2 separate race and test modes in Nascar 2009. I kinda wish that more name drivers were available in the Nationwide series, but otherwise it is still a challenging game, especially for the racing fan.
Trading cards are popular once I went to a shop selling Jeff Gordon NASCAR offical trading cards and I have attended NASCAR race yet the most fun is the Baltimore Science Center talking to people who invent pit stop ways to hurry cars from the PIT we tested equipment and I tried NASCAR PlayStation games they are great telling popular real NASCAR names you choose who you are as a driver and the easy is not the source it is collisions and wall and faster until your momentum carries to place or LOOSE or take 1st Place Victorious .

Nascar 09 is an excellent option of race game. It has good graphs, the sound does not deserve complaints, the control is a little quaint at the beginning but it does not confuse and the playing is relatively simple. It has a way of very interesting career where to is not enough to gain races to grow. It is necessary to create a good relationship with the other racers through a cautious position in the tracks, to take off licenses to compete inside in other categories of the Nascar, to invest in the car to improve its performance, among other things that place this game in a sufficiently special list: " Games that you cannot leave to buy "
Jeff Gordan the four-time champion will take you under his wing and guide you through some of the key aspects of the game. Working with you through an all-new interactive menu interface, Gordon will guide you through the game’s major features and advise you throughout your career, just as he has done with real-life protege Jimmie Johnson. Players will use Gordon’s advice as guidance in preparing to challenge the best drivers of NASCAR in an all-new career mode and in the Sprint Driver Challenges to earn reputation and become a NASCAR champion. With NASCAR 09, your reputation is on the line and your mentor Jeff Gordon is your guide BUT JIMMIE JOHNSON IS STILL THE MAN WITH 4 STRAIGHT TITLES
The game setup is just like 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. Some of the graphics and menus are a little better, but overall its the same game. The driving is terrible just like previous versions. Some major annoyances: no right analog stick for gas - it's only for the total team control and somehow the graphics quality in 2009 look lower quality than previous versions, yes its better than 2003 or 2004 but not the others. If you want a decent PS2 NASCAR game get EA's 2003 one. If you want an excellent PS2 NASCAR game get Dirt to Daytona. They both have far superior physics and as a bonus they've got the Rockingham track.
