Just finished installing the new headphone jack for my iPod classic. Worked perfectly no issues whatsoever. Arrived sealed in brand new condition very good value for money. I intend to order a couple of more just to have them on hand when this one eventually wears out. The headphone jack is the quickest thing to wear out on an iPod classic. And since I don't intend on replacing my iPod anytime soon I would like to have a few on hand just in case. Highly recommend this seller.

This doesn’t fit 5th gen iPod classic. The auxiliary jack doesn’t fit its rounded at the bottom and the hold switch doesn’t fit as well it has an extra metal bracket preventing it from fitting. I does work but I had to modify it. I don’t recommend this part

Almost perfect replacement part for my old iPod! The hold switch is the only thing that bothers me somewhat (it isn't as smooth to click as the OEM Apple part). Regardless, it was a good purchase.

  • good value for money, only issue is the switch mechanism.

the mechanism for the switch is plastic and immediately broke. had to get the mechanism off of my nonworking one and replaced the switch mechanism with a metal one. Kind of bad quality, but great for the money.

  • Sweet part to revive broken iPod

Perfect part to revive an old iPod 6th generation that had a failed headphone jack. The part fit was perfect, installtion (once open!) seamless and it just works. Now I have a sweet retro audio player for my car. And a now perfectly usable piece of tech is kept out of the landfill.
