This AC Wi-Fi Dongle is really well made adapter. I really like the fold-able antennae. I also get good MHz on this adapter. I also get good upload and download speeds. Even on a N Network it works well. There isn't much AC Routers out yet in the public so when i am at my community college it is using N network which is not bad at all. If you have a router that has WPS this adapter has a WPS button which can Sync with the WPS on your router which is really good feature to have. Overall this USB AC dongle is good. It does disconnect to refresh at the beginning when you plug it in everytime but it connects back when the refreshing is done. It doesn't take that long so that is why I took a star off. Good module, easy to install and use. It has a WPS button to help users with easy setup with their home wireless network if they also have a Router also with WPS function. It also support WPA/WPA2 personal as well as WPA/WPA2 enterprise. Not sure if the CD provides such a GUI for the enterprise setup. I use a 3rd party software successfully. Instead of trying to configure tricky "wi-fi extenders" to increase coverage or deal with dead spots in the environment, consider using one of these either instead of the above or in addition to. Driver downloaded from company website and device was installed and working without any hassles. Wireless speed is more than twice what I've been getting with the laptop's internal radio and that's using USB 2.0. I'm sure it will be faster with 3.0 which is what it's designed for. My initial impression is extremely positive, especially after wasting time and money on "extenders".
