    These speakers work well in my old pickup as I don't have the room or inclination for giant speaker boxes. I had installed a similar set of this type speaker 20 years ago and they served me well, I expect the same from these.

    Meh, they make sound

    If you are looking for audiophile speakers, these aren't what you want. If you are simply wanting to have music in a location, and sound quality isn't that big of a deal, like outdoors where I used them, then these will work. Sound is thin, lacking base, and there's no presence at all, and in case you want to know, they are being driven by a decent quality, new, Yamaha receiver.
