    Old technology - doesn't work.

    Tried to get this to work on both a Windows 8 and 10 machines - no dice. Won't work on either - the technology is just way too old. Was gonna mod this for use with my telescopes polar alignment scope. If anyone out there knows how to get this to work - I would greatly appreciate it!

    Great for it's price!

    The quickcam isn't exactly the best, it gives a decent picture with some lag. But I only paid about $12 for it, so I'm not complaining. It works for laptops, you just attach it on. It has some fun video effects. It also has privacy screens that just show a picture, those are pretty fun too. Overall, it's a pretty good camera, it's a Logitech. I've always had good experiences with Logitech. So I'd recommend this to everyone!

    Good if you can get a really cheap deal

    This model is really old. The picture is of small size and the color is a bit yellowish. It is still worth buying if u can get it at a really cheap price (define your own cheap price). By the way, this model has issues working under Linux Skype. But if your platform is dominantly Windows, it should be able to work perfectly.

    Good basic webcam

    This is a decent basic webcam. Nothing fancy. No built in mic or remote control and a somewhat slow refresh rate. It also needs lots of good light to get a decent picture. However, it is a good basic webcam for those just venturing into online video and it does have some good editing tools available. Logitech's reputation for building solid products is well deserved.
