Great upgrade for an old PC
I have an old office PC with Asus M2N-VM DVI motherboard -- upgraded it to about the power of my laptop with this processor. Very quick shipment and overall great handling! The processor works fine already couple of weeks. I even did not have to reinstall linux on the PC -- just swapped the process underneath it :) later I will reinstall it anyway. Only 1 thing to notice: check the BIOS version on your motherboard first. And upgrade it if needed. On my Asus motherboard this processor requires 0603 minimum (check on cpu-upgrade [dot] com) -- I had to upgrade the BIOS before installing the new processor. But forgot to do so. Great upgrade from a dual core Athlon
I upgraded from a dual core Athlon X2 4450. Installation was very easy and took just a few minutes. Now my office PC is much snappier, no lag anymore while multitasking. CPU temps are surprisingly low. No reason to upgrade to a modern platform just yet. Thanks to the seller for great packaging and fast shipping.

The Internet browser works very well with it, the load does not exceed 50%, if you want to open it completely, then you need more memory.
