This back plate was correct for a 125mm, 5" chuck. It has only the 3 screw holes for mounting and is oversized to be turned and fitted to the chuck. The back edge has a slight chamfer and there is proper thickness to the edge for the SHCS. It is exactly what I hoped it would be.

5" 3-Hole 1-1/2"-8 backplate: Machining was spot-on, fits my SB 9A spindle very accurately. Minus 1 star since backplate I received had two additional M8x1.25 holes, and no cap screws were included. I had to fit in 3 more tapped holes to mount collet chuck. Price was attractive and shipping was cheap and quick. Overall I'm happy with purchase and will consider seller in future.

Well worth the money!
I ordered this adapter hoping it would be to big and it was. If I had expected it to fit my chuck I would have given it 3 stars, however it was way to big. I am giving it 5 stars because I was able to thread it on my spindle and fully machine it to fit the chuck. When I completed machining, it fit the chuck and had zero run out.

Correct Backplate - (everything was right, exactly what I wanted)
Came with correct thread for spindle and extra material inside the lead-in to be fitted and trued to the lathe. Has (3) screw mounting holes for M8 screws from the back (supplied) and (3) tapped holes in between for chucks that have the screws from the front side, but not needed here, I will put set screws in the holes (not supplied). It does not have the extra holes to fit a four jaw chuck (not universal) there is a (4) hole version for it (that I ordered also to fit a new 4 jaw).Came with correct thread for spindle and extra material inside the lead-in to be fitted and trued to the lathe.
