Very sturdy.
The rack is very heavy. The hole for the hitch pin is not the correct size. I had drill it to make a 1/2 inch pin fit. It should be drilled for a 5/8 inch pin on a 2 inch hitch. Instructions were horrible and I had to use the online picture to figure it out. All in all, I think the hitch is sturdy and will work well for 4 bikes. Too heavy for my wife to handle.
