Perfect Stationary Dock
I recently upgraded to a new 2016 MacBook from a 2012 MacBook Pro, and the whole one port thing had me a little on the fritz at first, but I'm glad I did, because that purchase motivated me to get this USB-C Docking Station, which I now wish I invested in earlier for the old Mac. Having everything plugged in into the station has been a HUGE time saver, than plugging in and out every cord. Thus far the docking station has been extremely reliable and works well with all of the devices that are plugged in (including an additional USB Hub), as though it was built into the Mac itself. The docking station really only takes up the same amount of space that the individual wires that I once had to connect/disconnect all too much, if not taking up less space. The only thing I wish was that this ... Then again, most people probably don't need to have as much connected as I do.

It was delivered on time. It works as I expected. I bought it for the ease of plugging the laptop that I bring from work to home. I plug in only the the USB-C port to connect to my external monitor, usb mouse and keyboard, and ethernet. USB-C is very easy to plug in, even in the dark, because there is no up or downside to it. The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I reserve 5 for when I discover something very nice I didn't expect.It was delivered on time. It works as I expected. Solid dock, good for a dual-monitor setup
I bought this dock in order to use my Macbook Pro 13-inch with 2 x 24-inch monitors. It works great, and the added HDMI and audio ports are a great plus. It's great to be able to just connect 2 cables (1 thunderbolt cable to the Dock and a thunderbolt 3 to HDMI cable to the secondary monitor). It's also great because I can leave my charger in my backpack for traveling. One note, you need to use a Thunderbolt cable to connect to the Doc in order to get the monitor working. Other features will work if you use a USB-C cable, but the monitor won't. That threw me for a bit because my box was missing the cable, however Frys is close enough by to address this. Great Dock, BUT!! may not power your HP laptop.
Bought this to expand ports for my HPSpectre X2 laptop. The HP uses only USB-type C ports. However, HP FAILS to follow type-C specs, disallowing third party docks to like this Plugable to power HP laptops/notebooks while expanding port options. This means you can only use a "genuine HP docking station on HP laptops. A transparent money grab from greedy SiliCON Valley! VERY SAD.
