I installed Linux beside Win10, (since that is our OS of choice) and discovered I had to go through a couple menus during startup, in order to get to the grub menu. When I figured that out, all was well. The functioning of the laptop has been more than satisfactory.

There was the original box with the computer in it placed inside of another box, which is the right way. However, there wasn't enough packing around the inside box against the outside box, luckily the damage to the outside box did not prove to be fatal to the inside box. My suggestion is to use more packaging inside the box where the computer box is put in .
