It only takes about 20 minutes to remove the unit, and 20 minutes to replace it, plug and play. The only tool needed is a Phillips head screw driver. All the buttons respond normally and properly actuate the vent dampers, fan and a/c. Repair was done quickly, item returned well packaged, shrink wrapped and with a warranty. This is a great value.
