    great and bad

    this axe is good for survival situations. the metal quality is good. all tools on it that ive used seemed very functional. constructive criticism: the axe is not very sharp from the factory. it needs to be sharpened. will barely chop wood with factory sharpness. as a survival ax it should be lightweight, but this is also a drawback since it doesnt impact with great force. it might help to make it SLIGHTLY more heavy. generally, the balance is good between weight and force however. the saw blade is for metal, not wood. must be changed, which requires dismantling the whole axe!! once situated with a wood blade however, it works great for small branches 3 inches or less. the company should install a wood blade initially. the nylon sheath is absolutely horrible and came apart almost ...
