      Works well, but not for my use

      I bought this item thinking I could use my old Xbox 360 headset with the Xbox One, it fits into the controller and works for hearing the game audio, but does not allow you to talk with other players or your friends. I was a little disappointed but decided to just buy an Xbox One headset instead. DO NOT BUY FOR THE XBOX ONE CONTROLLER, WILL NOT WORK!!

      Just okay

      It does what it is supposed to do (for now) and it was inexpensive. My only issue is that the female end of the adapter is not a snug. Very loose fit. Slides around on the plug and comes off too easily. Seems to get looser with each use. Concern is that the connection will degrade or that I will lose the adapter because it fell off without my notice.

      Works really well, but the ends keep falling apart and I have to push them back together

      I now own 4 of them, mainly because they are small, and I am constantly pulling them off the headset cord to go between my land line phone and the cell phone, and I put them "somewhere" and then find them again later. At the moment I do have all 4. The sound quality is excellent, which is why I bought more after I bought the first one, but the gold ring that is at the 2.5mm end has come off on 3 of the 4. I just push it back in, and be careful that it comes off with the adapter every time I pull the adapter off my phone cord. It does work without the gold ring, just the end of the headset cord is loose and can break the connection sometimes, and every once in a while, the whole guts of the connector falls out, but you can just put it back in again. One of these days I will get ...

      Worth a look!

      Not the senders fault

      Did not meet my expectations as an audio adapter. It made a stereo connection only have the ability for one side of the sound. My responsibility should have to better vetted the product.
