      Awesome Value!

      This welder is an awesome value for the price! It's a pretty simple machine and I like that. I haven't tried Tig/Pulse with it yet but expect it to perform well given its performance with stick welding. It's quiet, consistent and powerful with nice-quality accessories. There's no amperage display but I consider that an unnecessary feature and the amperage knob seems to adjust smoothly and as expected. Welded 1/4" thick pipe at around 100 amps perfectly. The instruction manual is not great (no explanation of 2T/4T but you can look that up). Also note that the machine's markings show this as simply DC- (DCEN) arc welding, but it can operate in DC+ (DCEP) by simply swapping the ground clamp and electrode holder connections on the machine.       SIMADRE 200 - Lightweight with great features

      For the price this tig welder has some good features. Was able to weld thin sheet metal with burner through, the high freq pulse is a nice feature, will need to do some more testing to make full use of the capability.

      Torch is cheap but OK. Gas hose dont fit regulator

      The GOOD: Looks well built. Light weight. Can connect Pedal. If you are smart, you can make your own pedal. Long TIG torch cord. Allot of electronics take place to make it work so clearly this is not some one board one transformer piece of junk. This is real deal. PCB looks to be done at a factory where quality matters External shell and all terminals seems to be made with quality in mind. High frequency start is awesome. Bad: No amperage display by design. Ground clamp wire is short. Power cord is short. No plug to connect to 110v or 220v, just exposed end of the wire. Manual does not tell which wire is what. No diagram/schematic of circuits in owners manual. High Frequency start is slow. Have to wait couple of seconds for it to charge. Pulse frequency is static, does not adjust. No ...

      We are welding 1/16 STainless Steel Wire to another 1/16 SS wire and its doing the job great. Lets hope it lasts for many thousands of these operations.
