    The center cap on one wheel would not catch the threads on the lugs nut, so I used a hand grinder to remove about a quarter of an inch of the seating surface. That did work and you can’t see any difference. It looks good on a 2006 chevy Silverado 1500.

    The center cap on one wheel would not catch the threads on the lugs nut, so I used a hand grinder to remove about a quarter of an inch of the seating surface. That did work and you can’t see any difference. It looks good on a 2006 chevy Silverado 1500.

    I came home to find that, for our annive...

    I came home to find that, for our anniversary, my wife had painted my rims and bumper flat black, and the center caps ended up black too because she didn t tape them off. But I didn t complain; they didn t look too bad. Then I went to get a tire replaced, and the shop didn t tighten the front driver s side well enough, and it fell off. At that point, these center caps were calling my name. They fit perfectly. I made sure to put them on tight, and now they look great on my old work truck that just last year was totaled in an accident, exactly what I needed.
