    Great deep sound

    Installed on a 2017 Road King Special, these slip on mufflers have a nice deep throaty sound that is not loud to the point of causing problems with the cops or neighbors. Definitely better than stock. Installation was straightforward and took about 45 minutes. It helped to use a little oil on the inside of the mufflers to help slide onto the stock pipe. 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16 sockets were the only tools needed. A common screwdriver helped to get the nuts at the back to catch the bolt threads. They did not come with new hardware but this was not a major concern. Four 5/16 18 bolts 1/2 inch long, associated nuts, and locking washers was all that was needed to complete the installation.

    Will update on the Sharkroad 4.0 slip ons in the future after 6 months

    I bought the Sharkroad 4.0 slip ons to see how they do for the price. I was impressed with the packaging, price and quality of the slip ons. They arrived quicker than expected, was pleased with that and easy to install too. Giving them a 4 for now and in the future will change to higher or lower after 6 months. Right now, they are great, and the sound is better than the stock. I am pleased, so far so good.

    Nice Sound and Cheapest Option for Harley Slip Ons!!

    Nice sound, not too loud but look great! Keep in mind these tips come out 3-4 inches farther than stock mufflers, but I actually like the look. Can’t beat these for the price. Some reviews said the pipes fade and rust after a while but I coated mine with VHT heat paint from auto one for like $8 to make them last. Hope that helps and safe riding :)

    Almost fit

    Had little problem with right side it was little small had to use a pipe spreader some so it would slip on left was no problem. Also the bolt to hold it up is very close to hitting the sladdbags.
