As long as you know where to solder the wires to these are very well made they sound just as good as original headphone connectors my HD 800S came with. I wanted to make my own cables cause didn't want to use the stock vacuum cleaner ones they're way too long so decided to give these a try. The pin with the notch the one that's on the notch side is the positive pin and then the ground or negative is the other side. Super easy to solder to and very clean look overall I'm satisfied with these. A++
