      Will not make TRRS mic work to TRS plug

      I bought this adapter because I indeed had a TRRS microphone but my PC only had TRS. The adapter doesn't actually bridge the mic as the first input as TRSS has, so it is incapable of working, for at least the use I needed it for, which was to make my Mic work. TRRS has mic as the inside pole, and I was hoping to get something that would adapt it to that, but perhaps there is no mic on TRS so it is impossible? Either way, just a fair warning because when I bought this there was no critical review mentioning this. Seems like a good quality product, arrived quickly and packaged well, it was simply my error, wishful thinking maybe, so no big deal

      Works perfectly to convert a TRRS headphone set to a traditional TRS jack.

      We used this to adapt a Skull Candy headphone set to work with a PC. I had considered cutting off the headphone plug and soldering on a standard TRS (3 conductor) plug in its place but am glad that a product like this is available instead. That way the headphones remain unmodified and can still be used for TRRS applications.
