I had read reviews about other aftermarket aluminum extended mag releases scratching up mags to the point that they would no longer catch and would start falling out. Since I really didn’t want to risk destroying my mags, I decided that this OEM polymer extended mag release was my best option, especially given the price. Install was quick and simple. Overall, a great upgrade.
