    Great piece of kit

    I have to preface this review by stating that I have only used it twice since purchasing it, so its not a long term review. I bought it because my other headlamp was heavy and bounced all over the place and I read some reviews about this and thought this could work. I am very impressed with it so far, its more than bright enough for uses for night running. There are areas that I could not run before because it was way too dark (I didn't want to trip and break my neck at night because I couldn't see) and now I run with confidence there. My first two runs have been a night when it has been almost pitch black except for a few areas where there is adequate lighting. Not once did I feel that I had to be extra careful.     Well made but badly designed

    Bright light and very well made as you'd expect BUT - the bottom of the light lets out a very bright light into your eyes and makes using it in the dark very difficult as the light emanating from the bottom of the lamp is just too bright! I use it for running but the flood of light coming from the bottom of the lamp unit is blinding so it's pretty useless as a head torch. I have stuck black tape to the bottom to try and prevent the downward glow but to no avail. It is very poorly thought out and generally very badly designed indeed so much so that even though it is a well made product I am returning it.

    Good performance out of cheap plastic

    The performance of this headlight is good, good brightness and easy settings. It is light and stays well on the head, also has a comfortable headband. The downsize is that is made out of cheap plastic which I doubt it is weatherproof. I am not confident that it will resist any decent rain. For the price it is OK.

    Energize 315.

    Great little head torch. Super bright. Very light weight. Came with batteries. 3 modes. Buttons are a little close on the unit which make switching between modes a little awkward but over all a really great piece of kit allowing complete use of two hands.

    Headlight

    Item came in couple days after placing order. Came as stated with 3 batteries included. I've used it for work as an escalator engineer and also personally for car repairs saves holding a conventional torch had comments from colleagues about where and how much as they now wish to own one, good bit of kit hoping it stays that way!
