It works, but it's a real pain to get installed.
The material is very stretchy and it needs to be in order to wrap around the frame. Although I was a little disappointed that the material required SO much stretching to make it fit. In fact, you have to pull so hard on it to make it fit that you can't really get it stretched evenly from front to back. So when you finally get the matching Velcro strips to touch, they won't be aligned straight without a LOT of rework and rework. What I was impressed with is how good the Velcro is. Despite the tension of the material, the Velcro holds it. My guess is over time the material will relax and in a month or so, I'll be able to re-install it and get the Velcro lined up a bit better than it is right now. Otherwise, it should do its job of protecting the frame and paint from the chain slapping it ... The material is very stretchy and it needs to be in order to wrap around the frame. Protects chain stay
These protect your chain stay from chain slap. I like them but in retrospect, I probably would just order the black color because when the chain is on the a small sprocket on the cassette it rubs on the cover and stains it black. Other than that, if you want to protect your chain stay, these are great.
