    Poor tuning

    Poor quality machining, vswr match on 2m was off the end of the adjustment span, go outside that span (over-extend the match rod) and the vswr becomes mostly useable. On 440 the vswr was so sporadic throughout the FM portion - center of the band 446 was about 2.9:1. Found a few spots of special interest (432 area) that had an acceptable vswr.
