It fits into the original battery tray and under the factory the hold-down bracket so it's a good fit for a Miata with the battery in the trunk (1992 in my case.) My vent tubes had rectangular fittings, but the vents are round on this battery. The vents on the battery measure 13/64" but I couldn't find tubing in that size so I used 3/16" ID tubing to replace the two sections of vent tubing from the battery to the plastic T of the original.
