The seller's response was "I'm sorry FedEx damaged your item". After it was determined that the item was not suitably packed (zero damage to the outer box) I was offered only $20, so I can disassemble and hammer out the dents, and still never have a perfect item. My bid alone netted the seller an extra $67, and shipping was $40 on top of that. I grew tired of fooling with this, and so accepted the $20.
