Great price and superfast delivery. I love this product and have been using it for years. I suggest not to use on old jewellery as the dip is so efficient it removes the patina as well as the tarnish so you may lose some of the character of the piece, so either spot apply using a cotton bud or use a polishing cloth. I would trust to buy from here again.

    Not “Better than I Expected”

    It’s not “Better than I expected” but that’s the only option given to purchases on the reviews now. It is a completely leading question and wholly inappropriate. Goddards is a well-established make, which I have used over many years, and this recent purchase does not disappoint. I expected it to be good quality, and it is. It is not better than I expected. I expected high quality, and it is high-quality. It is also reasonably priced and arrived quickly. But, eBay, please do not force me into writing false reviews by asking leading questions which could easily mislead other purchases.

    A long standing product, now a bit out of reach financially.

    This product I have used for many years to clean my silver. It is now very expensive compared to a similar product sold at John Lewis’, as Goddards always was. A pity as I think the other one is American, and would prefer to buy British.

    Very easy to use

    I have found this product quite difficult (if not impossible) to obtain from local hardware stores so was very pleased to be able to find it on ebay. I pour a small amount into an egg-cup specifically reserved for the purpose, put my silver jewellery into the liquid and return a very few minutes later to find that all the tarnish - even from perfume-covered necklaces - has disappeared. The jewellery just then needs a rinse under the tap and a rub over with a piece of kitchen towel and it's as sparkly and shiny as new. A once-a-month task that is easy due to the efficiency of Silver Dip.

    Fast cleaning action

    I had this product years ago and finally needed to replace it. It cleans silver super quick with just a little dip. Make sure it's real silver not plated or a fake silver as it will discolour it. I had earring stored for so long they had turned black. With just a quick dip they returned to their former glory. Lasts so long. Brilliant value for money. The only thing I would like to see is a plastic tray with a stem on it, to get your jewellery if it drops in the jar (my old one had this but the size and shape of the jar has changed so I can't reuse it)

    Exceptional Product

    I have used this item for very many years & it is still as effective as it has always been. Once your item is placed in the liquid, you can see it getting clean within seconds, & it doesn't take more than a very few minutes to look like new again. This really is a brilliant product.
