    Arrived with a damaged cd for use with pc. Main thing was there is no way the supplied microscope could give 1200x magnification. It was claimed to focus down to 10 mm working distance but in fact the closest was 18 mm. At this distance the on screen magnification topped out at 80!!! Using a pc with software loaded from a site they recommended achieved 240x using 200% factor. The microscope will be useable for low magnification inspection and image capture but is a major disappointment.

    Amazing product

    Purchased to examine the teeth of gears I'm making for a model engine. The microscope shows amazing detail. It is also capable of recording video and taking photos but I haven't tried that yet.     Brilliant piece of kit!

    Bought this as a birthday present for my partner who is a metal detectorist. I would totally recommend but only down side the arm on the stand isn't long enough! You can't see the whole of the coin. Cannot find an extension arm to fit the base, from anywhere. Simple solution is to turn the bar round and mount it to a box lol Pics are the stereo microscope at the full height, and the bottom height, the arm bar that is too short and of the whole coin when stereo microscope was mounted on a box
