Works well with Vcc=3.3V. Unlike other similar displays, this unit has no voltage regulator so powering from 5V may not be safe (I did use 5V accidentally and it worked but this is outside the datasheet specs). Also the I2C address is fixed at 0x3C. Other brands allow selecting 0x3C/0x3D.

Adafruit libraries work great with this screen. Sharp display and easy to use. It is not mentioned that the I2C address is not settable with these screens, and they are the same. So you cannot use the two screens with the same micro-controller. Works fine with separate ones though.

Excellent bright little display with four connections clearly labelled and pins included for possible breadboard use worked the first time and every time for me. I bought two and am totally pleased with both.

Pixels are sharp. It is tiny but very clear. I like it and great way to add a inexpensive troubleshooting display to your project. Would be good in small portable things too. I’ll likely get a few more now I see how small and clear they are.

I do a lot with arduino's and ESP8266's, this works well with both, and gives a great platform for the screens! It saves the cutting needed to install the screens in a project box and rises the screen above the case where it can be viewed at a glance. I plan on getting more of these as my projects progress.
