It has its original patina and features a countermark. This is a genuine Otho coin, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. This piece is truly rare as the emperor only ruled for 91 days. That is not a lot of time to mint coins. This coin could be described as: SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria. Antioch. Otho, 69. Ae (bronze, 8.23 g, 21 mm). [IMP M OTHO CAE AVG] Laureate head right. Rev. S C in laurel wreath. RPC 4319. This is a coin that has been widely sought after by collectors for years. It is a chance to own one that is guaranteed authentic. Grading is subjective. In my opinion it is VG. Please examine the high resolution photos to come to your own conclusion.”
