About Fox Float Ctd
Riding on mountainous trails does not have to be bone-crushing, as long as you equip your all-terrain bike with Fox FLOAT CTD suspension. Fox released the high-performance and user-adjustable FLOAT CTD suspension system in 2013 to reinvent the way the parts work in bicycles. The CTD stands for Climb, Trail, and Descend. It harmonizes the cushioning effects of the front fork and rear shock of a bicycle by allowing the rider to select one of three preset modes most appropriate to their current cycling needs. The Climb mode raises the seat to fully extend the rider's legs and also puts the fork and shock in the firmest but lowest-speed compression setting in order to make pedaling easier and the climb rate faster. The Trail mode is for riding on level ground and its settings are midway between the Climb and Descend modes. The Descend mode drops the seat to the lowest position and puts the fork and shock in the right state to handle steep descents. Riders can switch between the three modes of the Fox FLOAT CTD suspension via an easy-to-reach remote lever. With the large inventory on eBay, you never have to climb off your bike to push it up a mountain ever again.
