W THE ORIGINAL BOX. I PULLED THIS UNIT OUT OF A STORAGE UNIT AND PLUGED IT IN AND HOOKED IT UP, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT WORKED, AND I HAVN'T EVEN CLEANED IT YET.

Are you ready for the move to open-reel perfection?. Pioneer has made a beautiful deck and equipped it in such a way that it performs with the ease and perfection of a cassette deck. And yet if you've never considered making the big move upward into open-reel, because you thought they were too complicated, you'll be happy to learn that Pioneer has equipped the RT-909 with the kind of features that only an open-reel novice could appreciate.

This 707 has been serviced with the following done. Brake pivoting points were cleaned and oil. Brakes checked for correct operation. Insides and outsides cleaned. Complete tape path cleaned. Heads cleaned and demag.

Pioneer RT-909 / RT-901. Kit includes Top Quality! Highly Resistant to Acid, Solvents and Acetone. Stands up to tough scrubbing. Depending on use, these can be cleaned and reused.

WORKS REAL GOOD COOL PIECE.

The tape player comes with the original box, packing inserts, and also includes the original Pioneer Light Metal Reel Model PR-85. Also included is a Maxell LN 35-90 Sound recording tap. The tape may not be blank. Is in mint condition. The two rubber rollers are also included in this auction. This Pioneer 700 series reel to reel comes in new like condition with extras and original box. This Reel to Reel will come packaged securely and delivered to you. These are a self-vulcanizing tires that need no glue to bond with the core. Use an acetone thinner to clean off the rest of the rubber from your core. Made with precision by LeRoy Czech Republic.

Pioneer PR-101 take up reel. Reel is in good condition, it dose show signs of a slight yellowing. No box. Please check my other auctions for similar items.

This is the EXACT OEM quality belt needed for your unit. The RT909 and RT901 use ONE belt only.this is the one. There is NO counter belt. Don't buy a belt that ALMOST fits correctly or one that is SIMILAR or CLOSE to the right size.

Using the correct belt will allow your tape counter to move much more freely. Also included are easy to follow step by step installation instructions.USA sales only.

All you need for quick replace is a right size an allen wrench /we'll be providing starting next series/ just make sure you don't lose the original plastic washers /there's one on each side/. Wash them carefully but don't use acetone at this point that would cause the plastic go soft.

Tested and in working condition, however due to the nature of vintage electronics , I will accept no returns on this. Please look at pictures carefully for cosmetic condition. The front faceplate does have some marks on it. I have not tried to remove them. I will pack this well for safe delivery..within lower U.S 48 only. Sorry, no international shipping. To reiterate ..I had the RT-2022 and tested this with that..worked great, however no returns accepted ..due to swapping out parts and or the nature of Vintage electronics. Thanks!

When the tape tension arm on the right side of the unit is raised in the up position, there is a slight humming noise from the electronics inside, most likely an aging electrolyte capacitor. I do not have any covers for this unit.

You will need a power cord. The build quality of these higher-level Pioneer decks is fantastic! Good working shape! It plays, records, rewinds, and fast-forwards as intended! Seems well-maintained and seldom-used.

Fully tested, and works great. The Counter does NOT work. The only other thing, is the rear output knob is super, super stiff. It loosened it up a bit, but is still very stiff. Aesthetically, it's in great shape.
