Great OG recreation
Perfect grab especially under retail. Definitely the best retro of this shoe (including the 99/00 release) and nowhere near as stiff as the 2016 black/metallic. Leather is pretty nice quality and soft enough to break in easily, keep in mind that when they release a shoe in a non-OG colorway, they use more modern materials. When they do an OG style retro, they try to use materials that can more closely match the appearance of the original durabuck. If the material bothers you and you prefer the newer materials there are alternatives but not for most OG colorways. They build the shoes to last since they know collectors will keep them forever. Silhouette is close to OG, thicker ankle bubbles and tongue padding but not too much. The newer style 3M material they use on the tongue is different from older versions, more rounded and stiffer but it doesnt effect you when you're wearing them. I had all the 5 colorways released around 2006-2008 and the shape was ugly, materials stiff and the leather felt like plastic, these are a huge upgrade and worth the price increase (dont pay over retail, you really dont have to). If you want the fire reds, get these. If you want black/metallic or Grapes, buy the Fresh Prince NRG and modify them to have laces (very easy process).
