Fierce cologne, created by designers Christophe Laudamiel and Bruno Jovanovich for Abercrombie & Fitch, is the brand's signature fragrance for men. Fierce fragrance offers tones of musk and citrus. The fragrance comes in three spray sizes as well as scented body wash, deodorant, and Fierce room spray to layer the fragrance if desired.

The top notes used in this woody fragrance from Abercrombie & Fitch are petit grain, cardamom, tart lemon, sweet orange, and a hint of fir. At heart, the notes are jasmine, rosemary, rose, and light lily of the valley. The base notes are vetiver, deep musk, oakmoss, and rich Brazilian rosewood to round out the fragrance.

• Preparation: Start with a shower. Use moisturizing soap or oil in the shower and/or apply unscented lotion afterward. Abercrombie & Fitch cologne clings better to smooth, hydrated skin than it does to dry skin.
• Application: Holding the bottle several inches away, spray the cologne evenly on your skin. Applying to your skin instead of your clothes helps the scent last longer. Apply to your pulse points, like the neck and collar area, inside the elbows, behind the knees, and the belly button area. The heat of these areas will activate your cologne.
• Misting: For a lighter coating, spritz your cologne into the air in front of you and walk through it briskly. The scent won't be as strong and it will be distributed evenly.
• Hair: To lightly scent your hair, apply the cologne to your brush and transfer the scent with a few brush strokes.

Vaseline, when dabbed in small amounts on the areas where you intend to apply your cologne, will work to help it last longer. The occlusive ointment will hold the scent better and longer than your skin. If you line your dresser drawers with tissue paper, you can spray the tissue with your cologne so your clothing also carries the scent. When you have just a small amount of Fierce cologne left, it can be added to an unscented lotion to scent it.
