Bulova Bulova Accutron II Wristwatches

Overall I'm happy with this watch. It looks great, functions well and is an interesting piece of hydrological history. Now this was released a couple of years ago and at the time retailed for around 600, although I picked mine up for considerably less thanks to jomashop I would have liked Bulova's quality control department to be a little more detailed in their inspection before sending this watch out the door. The second hand doesn't exactly line up at the 12 o'clock position. It's 1/5 of a second off and this bothers me to some degree. Furthermore, the "leather" band that is installed on the watch is, for lack of a better word, junk. It feels "plasticky" cheap and really uncomfortable. I know the band is not a qc issue but felt like it was worth noting. Other than that I think it's a great watch for 300 bucks, sapphire crystal, unique pushers and definitely a head turner.

Hello, my friends ! I'm a man live in Japan, and am 51 years old. I'am a father of two sons. I'm very glad to have this great wristwatch this time. It looks beautiful, excellent. It's moderate weight, outline is nice shape, matches my taste well. It's the reasonable price, but there is poshness. The accuracy is incredible. It's being compared with an electric wave clock, but an error doesn't occur at all. The sweep second hand is fantastic. The date calendar is changed with tchick in 24:00. Please try this watch ! You will love it !

Really like the old school military look of this watch. The second hand sweeps like an automatic or manual wind only ot quartz accurate. In a couple weeks of wearing it has neither gained or lost a second. It is super easy to read even at night. The strap is super comfortable. I usually replace a leather strap or metal bracelet with a NATO or Zulu but there's no need on this one. I have absolutely all pros and no cons with this time piece. Definitely money well spent.

Classic Bulova re-issue with modern styling- gun-metal with red stripe: aggressive. Sun-burst grey dial with Bulova's Accutron 262 kHz quartz movement. All in house as far as I am concerned and, therefore, a classic to be kept. Get your hands on one and keep it. Bulova has gone completely down-hill since this brief period of re-issues with the Bulova trademark quartz movement. Now? Re-issues have the Citizen Miyota quartz...say wha'?

Only people with a wide vision could appreciate the real value of the Apollo project for all mankind.This watch was an important part of this project . The use of this watch gave me the chance to be a part of that moment and also a part of the future . HECRESPO

The watch is very simple yet very attractive. Many people reconize the early aviator military look. My friend is a pilot and was really impressed at the style and it's a Bulova. I may just order another one for a gift for him.

Looks great, superb timekeeping, great price. What's not to like? I only hope the battery lasts longer than what I have been reading about. This watch with solar power recharge or 10 year battery would make it perfect. Thank you.

The watch has features like a chronometer to time an event and has a moveable inner scale to act as a countdown timer. The bracelet is comfortable and uses split pins to change the length to get the correct size.

Classic design with an interesting history. A great talking piece. Don't be put off by the size, wears well even on a smaller wrist. Great accuracy with the 262 kHz movement. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

This watch is unique, being part of the Bulova Curve line. But for the list price of this watch one would at least expect it to have a date function. Very comfortable on the wrist.
