Unbelievable Companion Speakers for Players Wanting Bass
5 of 5 found this helpful These speakers are hot. For the money, they provide more bass than I dreamed possible. I had an old set of Sony SRS 21's that had nothing on the Bose. I play electric guitar as a hobby and have software that slows down music but maintains the pitch. These Bose speakers, with no sub-woofer, can easily and faithfully drive the music louder than is comfortable without hearing protection. They are a great companion speaker that can easily provide sufficient bass and drum impact that is needed to simulate playing with other instruments. The smaller Sony's couldn't provide near this bass response. There is a small penalty in that if you really like the higher frequencies to be more present but you only have one output driver (and you don't have an equalizer on it to drop the really strong bass & mid-ranges) then the highs will be lost in the deep lows.
Deficiencies: The separation is limited to about 3'without pulling out the weakly held left speaker jack. The high range suffers a bit due to the really strong mid and low frequencies. Hey it is what it is, but when you get both speakers aimed at a focal point where you put your head there, and add a little volume: Wow, I expect you will be impressed!
The Good: The bass response is truly low, like 50 Hz or lower, low. The mid-range is also very strong. The controls are pretty simple and the rotary knob has the headphone jack that mutes the speakers.

10 Years in Drainback Service @ 3000' El in AZ, Zero Maintenance!
This pump is rock solid and puts out a good 30'+ of discharge head. 10 years zero maintenance. Turns out the vacuum breaker/air vent valve needs service more frequently! Pump ran dry for 1 day, and now makes noise, but has run for 2 weeks since then. Plenty of time to get the replacement and watch it more closely next time, or it would NO DOUBT still be running!

Great Family Planning Calendar
Look no further for a great wall or side-of-fridge calendar that you can write down all the family's comings and goings. Large size and great quality bond paper (not thin, like might be expected) is easy to write on. The reinforcement at the top helps it maintain its flatness.
