☆☆ UNCIRCULATED FERDINAND VII 1816MoJJ NGC MS62 HALF (1/2) ESCUDO ☆☆

Colonial half escudo
Colonial half escudos were minted in Mexico from 1814 to 1820. All are rare but the 1814 is relatively more easily available than the others. Rare in uncirculated, these coins are a nice series for the discriminating collector of World gold coins, Mexican coinage, or Spanish issues.

The Practical Book of Cobs Spanish Colonial Numismatic & Shipwreck Reference
May 23, 2017
This is a must have
This is a title that cannot be missing on anyone interested on cobs in general and Latin American numismatics. The information in the book is well organised and very complete, with good descriptions of the coins by periods and mints. While i wish the number of illustrations was higher, in order to better understand the text, this deficiency is not crucial.

This is a must read!
This book is an absolute must read for anyone interested on these coins. Award winning Allan Schein outdid himself with an excellent description, superb photography and entertaining reading.
