works for me !
Im sure it helps with evaporation, just carefully remove it so you dont have a bunch of water trapped in it while taking it out and lose water while removing it.
Im using it in Az, with lots of sunlight and sun, but in 1 day it must of heated my pool 5 degrees warmer. If it last one summer, Ill be more then happy. LOVE IT !!!
Again, Im in Az like a mile from the Sun... but two days with this thing on and the temps in my pool where over 85 !! cant wait for a winter !!!

its clunky and big
holds the phone fine, and the phone comes out easy enough and stays locked in okay,.. but its just big and bulky, ...I still use it everyday, may swap out to a smaller version in the future
