It's a great singer's mic too!
I bought this as a lightweight vocal mic for my single act. I'm very impressed. The midrange and definition is outstanding.

Help Sound Bars Sound Better
Those A/V sound bars are great but you cannot adjust the tone on many of them. Mine was too mid-bassy, I needed to fix that. And any add on that changing the tone usually requires yet another power supply behind your TV. What a mess.
This is perfect, it is passive (does not require power) and does not reduce the volume of the signal much at all (unless you turn the controls down...)
When connecting between the sound bar and the TV via RCA or 3.5mm jacks, you can insert this little item to reduce the bass or mid. Just need a bit of soldering to make the cables connecting the in and outs.
Best $7 I ever spent..

Works with Steinberger Synapse
The stock Synapse string screws are unusable. These work great. Now I can use regular strings. Yay!
